ReConnect Academy Parent Open House – July 28, 2026. Families are invited to tour the new ReConnect Academy space, meet the team, and learn how the program helps students build academic momentum, life skills, and a personalized path toward graduation and future success.

At The Connect Academy, we believe every student has the potential to grow, succeed, and build a future they are excited about. This fall, we are proud to introduce ReConnect Academy, a new program designed to surround high school students in grades 9–12 with the individualized support, structure, and encouragement they need to move forward with clarity and confidence.

And we want you to be among the first to see it.

You're Invited: ReConnect Academy Parent Open House
Join us for a Parent Open House as we prepare to welcome students to ReConnect Academy for the 2026–2027 school year. Construction is in its final stages, and this is your chance to step inside the developing space, experience the vision firsthand, and meet the team that will be supporting your child every single day.

What to Expect at the Open House
This is more than a tour, it is an opportunity to get your questions answered and feel confident and excited about what comes next for your student.

During the open house, families will be able to:

• Tour the ReConnect Academy space as it completes the final stages of construction
• Visit Connect Academy (Unit 400) and see our therapeutic day program in action
• Meet members of our team, including Connect Academy President Heather Bruen, who has been on-site throughout the buildout
• Ask questions about programming, daily structure, student support, and what a typical day looks like
• Learn about the ReConnect approach including how we help students build academic momentum, develop real-world life skills, and create an individual career plan for the future they are working toward

A Program Designed Around Student Outcomes
ReConnect Academy is built around one central belief: when students are supported, challenged, and genuinely known by the people around them, they thrive.

Students attend a focused three-hour session each day, either morning or afternoon, and receive individualized academic support aligned with their home school district's graduation requirements. Smaller class sizes mean students are not just another face in the room. They are known, encouraged, and held to high expectations because the people around them are invested in where they are headed.

At the heart of the ReConnect experience is an individual career plan, a personalized roadmap built around each student's own goals. Starting with a postsecondary vision, whether that is a career path, a trade, college, or another meaningful next step, students and staff work backward together to build a clear, step-by-step plan. This helps students see the direct connection between their daily effort and the future they are building, creating real motivation, real purpose, and real momentum.

Beyond academics, students develop communication skills, self-awareness, problem-solving abilities, and the confidence to navigate relationships and responsibilities. These are the skills that carry students forward: in school, in careers, and in life.
