HOW ENROLLMENT WORKS

Enrollment in our therapeutic day programs is initiated through a district referral and application. Our team reviews each referral carefully to ensure the best possible program match for every student.

STEP 1: ​District Referral

School districts identify students who may benefit from our therapeutic day programs and initiate the online referral application.

STEP 2: Review

Our admissions team reviews the student's educational, behavioral, and therapeutic needs — along with recommendations from the referring district — to identify the program best suited to support their growth and success.

STEP 3: Program Placement

Students are placed in one of our three programs:

• Connect Academy (Pre-K - 8th): Located in Carol Stream, Illinois, this structured therapeutic program builds strong academic and emotional foundations to support student reintegration into less restrictive settings.
• Connect Academy High School (9th - 12th): Based in Addison, Illinois, this supportive program prepares students for life beyond the classroom through academic instruction, behavioral support, and community-based learning opportunities to support transition planning.
• Pathways Academy (Supporting Students with Autism): Located in Lombard, Illinois, this highly individualized program serves students with autism by providing structured routines, communication supports, and therapeutic care in a nurturing environment.
• ReConnect Academy: ReConnect Academy operates on a seat block model, giving school districts a flexible, efficient way to secure placement for students who need a structured, restorative alternative to their current setting. Districts purchase seat blocks in advance, making it easy to act quickly when a student needs intervention, without the wait of a traditional application cycle.
